We returned home with loads of our favorite tea and biscuits after our 5th UK Tour this week. We also came back with a lovely case of jet lag, which if you have experienced before, makes you want to eat at all the wrong times.
We had a fantastic time with the guys of Third Day when we opened for them in the heart of London. The crowd was stunning as the line circled around the large theater with people waiting for the doors to open. We heard that some had even come by train from Holland. “My Adoration” was one of the songs we played that night...

The time; 6:55pm, the place; the basement’s stage of B.B. Kings Restaurant & Blues Club in Nashville, TN. Nearly a hundred people had gathered at this point to hear The Sonflowerz and several artists live. Sound checks completed, instruments out and ready, it was 5 minutes before show time.
Then, without warning and for no apparent reason, a flood. A flood of sewer water to be exact. Nerves that were already on edge were heightened a bit more knowing something had to be done. Would the show get canceled?
“God is in control and he works everything out for His purpose”. Becca was very clear about that during our phone conversation as I recounted the events of that evening. “God had a plan for that night. And, who knows who was exposed to Christ through the artist testimonies or the songs we sang. God can use anything, even a flooded basement”.

The Sonflowerz open for Third Day!
The Sonflowerz will open for U.S.-based Grammy Award winners, Third Day, on June 3rd in London, England. Ignite Ministries will host the concert at The Forum, a 2,100 capacity theatre-style venue in Kentish Town, North London. The Sonflowerz will also appear at major festivals across the U.S., including Atlanta Fest, Creation Festival East and West, and NightVision. The Sonflowerz will open for Seabird and Needtobreathe at Spirit West Coast in Del Mar, California on May 24th.
