Elissa and Becca are THE SONFLOWERZ , a British-American sister duo, based in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
“By Faith”, the title of their 5th full-length album, strikes a chord with worship leaders. “There is a theme of worship throughout the album, which stems from our beginning as a worship band for our youth group. We have always loved seeing people encounter God in a personal way, and we hope other churches can find these songs useful,” says Elissa. Produced by Matthew Fallentine (Desperation Band, New Life Worship) and Don Koch (6-time Dove award winner), “By Faith” is a collection of songs written by the sisters.

Their youth pastor encouraged the sisters to form a band in 1999, when hearing Elissa’s first original song. Since hitting the road and touring across the U.S. and U.K., they’ve joined other artists such as Third Day, Building 429, Laura Story, Needtobreathe, Sanctus Real, and opened for Sara Groves’ Christmas tour.
The act’s first album, You Remain, and single, Crazy Love, were released in 2002. Their sophomore effort, Alive in You, was released a few years later.
While attending the 33rd GMA Music in the Rockies, Elissa and Becca won first place in two categories of the competition in Estes Park, Colorado. Soon after, they began writing songs for their 3rd album, produced by Don Koch, titled “All Over The World”. The title track was inspired by the duo’s experiences in England and Wales. Radio stations across the US and Europe embraced the follow-up singles, “My Adoration” and “Edge Of My Seat”.
Their vision for what they do is to inspire young women to live bold and beautiful for Christ. The sisters have joined LifeWay Women and author/speaker Vicki Courtney for “You and Your Girl”, an event that has reached 18,000 moms and daughters in 22 churches, including a nationwide simulcast with 66 hosting sites.
